Happy Motorcyclists

October 10 2016, By Petreaux & GS Africa Team

Thank you for taking great care of our guests - the feedback is fantastic. The guests were hugely impressed by both the magnificent ambiance of all 3 properties as well as the friendly and most assisting staff ~ thank you to the WHOLE team, you have done us proud! Thank you Lee-Anne for your personal input and the extra length you have gone to from day one in order to accommodate our specific motorcycle needs - we are definitely recommending you to all our (future) clients and hope to see you soon again! Petreaux & GS Africa Team: 16 guests from USA, AUS and UK.

“I want to live here”

June 13 2016, By Tania, Johannesburg

I had never heard of Homestead before (or the other two that are also owned by Rovos Rail - Manor and Seaforth). We stayed here as part of a trip on Rovos Rail, and we were blown away! The rooms are absolutely beautiful and luxurious. The huge bathtub is divine, and my husband and I both agree that this was the best shower we've ever had! Breakfast overlooking False Bay was delicious and we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the lovely staff. We only stayed for one night, but I wish we could have stayed much, much longer! TripAdvisor

“Elegant Seaside Suburb of Cape Town”

January 30 2016, By Edwin M, Dubai

The Rovos Guesthouses are an undiscovered gem on the southern shores of Cape Town! After a few days at a large hotel in the middle of busy downtown Cape Town, we found a peaceful getaway to relax and enjoy the natural scenery of the Western Cape. We stayed at the elegant Seaforth house in the spacious, and well appointed, "Farmer" room which has unobstructed views of St. James beach, Kalk Bay and historic Muizenberg. Situated on the warmer waters of False Bay, St. James is very popular with surfers and sophisticated locals. Shopping and excellent restaurants are a short walk away from the guest houses in Kalk Bay. We would recommend hiring a driver, or renting a car, as taxis are not always readily available. The house was immaculate and, with only three beautiful guest rooms, had the feel of a very comfortable private home, not a hotel. The staff were all very pleasant, attentive, but never intrusive. We will certainly be back! TripAdvisor
