Table Mountain National Park

Table Mountain National Park

Whether it is covered in a blanket of moody clouds or showing off against a crisp cloudless blue sky, Table Mountain is always spectacular. Voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2011, it is one of the city’s most popular attractions – both with locals and visitors. Since it first opened in 1929, the Table Mountain Cable Way has attracted 24-million visitors.

The park is also home to the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth with more than 1470 floral species, many of them endemic to the area, and animal species, including dassies, mongooses, snakes and tortoises.
